The Pyrojin industrial waste tyre shredder processes 900-1200 mm scrap steel-belt tyres into 16-40 mesh rubber powder through a three-stage system: dismantling, cutting and low-temperature crushing. A bladeless roller-squeeze design replaces conventional cutters, so steel wire cannot break blades and the 45-tonne one-piece cast steel main frame absorbs shock for long service life. It handles 1-4 tonnes per hour and is built for wire-reinforced, engineering and mining tyres in rubber recycling, pyrolysis feedstock and environmentally friendly building-material applications.

How an Industrial Waste Tyre Shredder Works

  1. Tyre dismantling - a 380-Type dismantling machine splits whole 900-1200 mm waste tyres into halves for downstream processing.
  2. Block preparation - a 600-Type cutting unit shears the halved tyres into 50×50 mm rubber blocks, which improves steel-wire separation safety and boosts throughput.
  3. Granulation - the 810 bearing-type low-temperature rubber breaker uses twin counter-rotating rollers with an adjustable gap and forced feeding to refine the blocks into 16-40 mesh rubber powder (0.4-1.18 mm).

Outputs: 16-40 Mesh Rubber Powder

  • Rubber powder (16-40 mesh / 0.4-1.18 mm) - reusable rubber material for rubber product recycling.
  • Steel wire / debris - separated during block preparation and granulation.
  • Downstream uses listed on the page: rubber product recycling, pyrolysis fuel and environmentally friendly building materials.

Key Equipment Features

  • Bladeless roller-squeeze crushing - high-pressure rollers replace cutters, avoiding frequent blade wear and wire-related breakage.
  • 45-tonne one-piece cast steel main frame - strong seismic and impact resistance for continuous heavy-load operation.
  • Low-temperature physical shearing - refines rubber to 16-40 mesh while preserving rubber molecular activity for reuse.
  • Ultra-low-noise operation - low-speed, high-torque drive with sound-insulating structure for urban environmental compliance.
  • Automatic dismantling pretreatment - layers complete waste tyres before cutting.
  • Simple, convenient installation and maintenance with low maintenance costs and fewer tool changes.
