How an Industrial Waste Plastic Shredder Works

  1. Mixed plastic waste (films, bottle preforms, pipes, hollow containers) is fed into a low-speed, high-torque rotary shear knife group.
  2. Multi-tooth alloy wear-resistant cutters shear the material into 5-20 mm granules.
  3. A built-in foreign-material sorting and impurity-isolation structure separates labels, mixed materials and metal debris, raising output purity and reducing blade wear.
  4. Screens are swapped to adjust particle size for downstream granulation, extrusion or injection moulding.
  5. Crushed plastic then follows one of several paths - recycled granulation, extrusion moulding or pyrolysis oil recovery.
